they tell me she moved on

they tell me it's all gone

it was her right

to tell me i was wrong

 

I saw her face today

and though I tried,

I just couldn't say

how her image wouldn't go away

and it keeps me from my sleep

 

I told her, "I love you."

and she told me what to do

to possess her heart

but i woke with a start

 

they tell me she's moved on

they tell me it's all gone

but it's not right

she's the one that's wrong
