Cliché

Cliché

A Poem by moosicphreak
"

I meant this to go to those people who go through life thinking everything they do has never been done, and nobody understands what they're going through.

"

It’s all just so cliché

Passion burning and the world turning

What are you trying to say?

Unrequited love and the lonesome dove

Unable to speak your own words

Edge of your seats for dime a dozen cheats

Just a face in the crowd

Your head’s in the clouds

And nobody knows how you feel

Because you’re so unique

I really like this poem. Usually when I see cliche used I sort of do a silent sigh, but you've employed them well and they help to convey your message about uniqueness. So a unique take on cliche. Great idea.

And welcome to the cafe :)
