Deeply Grateful

Deeply Grateful

A Poem by Bo Lanier

Well if I were to count my blessings

They would outnumber the grains of

Sand on the shore but I'm only human

And just like everybody I often take

Them for granted still that's no excuse

So please forgive me Lord...for in my heart

I am Deeply Grateful, I am grateful for

Today that wasn't promised me, for the

Wisdom I've learned from all the mistakes

I've made and for the miracles you've

Granted me and sent my way...I only want

To be the man you want me to be so

Please forgive me when I fall short of your

Glory for I know if I were to count my

Blessings they would outnumber the stars

Above. Well I know you know I am Deeply

Grateful, Deeply Grateful my cup overflows

With your never ending love!
