Brave HeartA Poem by Bo Lanier
Somewhere in a cottage down by the lake lands
hidden
out of sight...superstition is like a religion no one understands... well and in the darkness of the night Lightning strikes the water parting the rain as I sit here by Candlelight looking through a wooden window pane...I hear your knock on my door but like the black widow spider that guards it's nest of treasures you should know better now Some spells are forever and some paths are not to be tread on, never...well and now this is something not even I can undo even in all my magic I cannot bring you back and that's that... cursed is the dark side of the mountain and the village you came from in the shadow of the black whole sun well I wear this ancient amulet for protection and keep to myself...if only some Brave Hearts would do that themselves but they never learn some spells are forever...looking out across the lake lands I see their spirits and the blood soaked sands of 1313 and a Knight Templars LastEndeavour. © 2017 Bo Lanier |
