Out Of A Dream

Out Of A Dream

A Poem by Bo Lanier

Well and in the season of El Nino the grey ones came

I felt the earth shake violently and winds off a hurricane

he whispered an ancient gypsy curse and drove her

insane they made the headlines underneath the one

about the new world order next to my name before

I watched the world go up in flames well was it a premonition ten years ago...

de ja vou Out Of A Dream I wish I could have done

something to stop it but now it's too late for anyone

to do anything about it's now I know what it's like to

be a prisoner just like a caged bird with no room to

spread its wings and so I have cried a million tears like a

river for you and me 'cuz of them I cussed, hissed, kicked

and screamed but I still couldn't do anything about it...

I hang my head in shame as the human race drops a notch

on the food chain I know this nightmare from somewhere

Out Of A Dream... ten years ago in the season of El Nino

I watched the world go up in flames!
