Firelight and Snowfall

Firelight and Snowfall

A Poem by Bo Lanier

Well I thought this place was a secret place

But somehow you have stumbled up on me tonight

Singing hymns from the book of the dead with my cape

Pulled up around me tight...well I stopped dead in my

Tracks when I saw you standing there watching me

And there was a sudden recognition from a long ago

Lived life...when Jasmine covered these hills and the

Nightingale did crawl...well it's all coming back to

Me now here in the shadow of Firelight and Snowfall

Well and it had to be fate that brought you back to

Me here on this new moon solstice just like the

Wild vines that cling to the bare trees of this

Mountain...we are intertwined and reunited again

And like a wolf on the run we'll pick up where we

Left off many moons ago just like a spell set in

Stone that can't even be undone by Merlin himself

And we'll dance the circle dance again in the

Shadow of Firelight and Snowfall, tonight in the

Shadow of Firelight, Firelight and Snowfall!
