A Little Miracle Grow

A Little Miracle Grow

A Poem by Bo Lanier

Well Our Love Could Use a

Little Miracle Grow 'cuz it's

Clear it's dying...

How did our love come to?

This when it used to be

Sweeter as the rose garden

Around the gazebo...

Well is it too late now to

Save it I guess only Heaven

Knows but I don't think so

No, I don't think so maybe

All it needs is a little Miracle

Grow...

I know the shadow of a cold

Hard frost hangs over our

Heads, it’s hard to mend

Something as fragile as love

When cold vile words are

Said...

It’s crazy how these last

Few seasons we have

Fought not giving the

The beauty we might be

Destroying in our hearts

A second thought...

How did our love come to?

This when it used to be

As precious and sacred as

The Easter lilies and the

Red, red, deep red rose...

Well maybe we can still

Save what we had not too

Long ago, maybe just maybe

All our love needs is a little

Miracle Grow!
