Hide and Seek.

Hide and Seek.

A Poem by Lydia

Here I am again.

A game of hide and seek,

Doomed to crawl out of the dark

After everyone’s gone home.

I am alone, with half my clothes on,

Because no matter the amount of words,

I can’t talk myself out of bed.

I don’t think I’ll wear makeup today,

And if you don’t like me the way I am, that’s fine,

Not many people do.

I’ll wear my dark circles with pride,

Sleepless nights, thinking of you.

I can’t find a better way to spend my time.
