I Hate the Park.

I Hate the Park.

A Poem by Lydia

I have no faith in humanity,
I have no hope for myself.
Everyone is fooled,
The wool covers their eyes,
While my mind runs wild:
A child, beaten and bruised,
A girl of fifteen abused.
I let myself get into that,
But there is no excuse.
He’s been gone for three years
And every day that goes by,
Not one passes when I forget to say
“I hope you die.”
Do you know what you’ve done to me?
Do you know what you’ve done?!
I ache inside, my stomach churns.
I do not trust, I must not love.
I loved you with innocence,
I loved you.

The pain in your words cuts deep into the soul, it's hard not to be moved by this scribe. From the turmoil expressed it's easy to understand why hope and faith has disappeared. Well scribed.
