Break Away.

Break Away.

A Poem by Lydia

Abandoned,
I throw my cares
To the ever-changing wind
Who is ever-changing me.
Day to day,
We’re never the same.
And who would want to be?
Consistency is unimaginative
And to be coherent is to be unfulfilled.
I am everything I love.
I am everything I despise.
Truth or lies?
I am nothing like you thought I was,
At least not today.
I refuse to be confined,
I refuse to be like any
But the wind and the sky.
I have broken the mold.

Yes, break the mold, yes, yes, YES! When life becomes a giant YES there is nothing to despise and nothing to confine. There is only the wind on your back as you float in a high hat through the clouds abandoning the world. Somethin' like that anyway.
