Reality Unbound.

Reality Unbound.

A Poem by Lydia

I’ve been crying in my sleep.
Yesterday’s mascara in the pillow,
And ichos in your veins,
Mixing with my blood.
I have tasted of ambrosia
And seen the nymphs dance,
But I’ve never seen the likes of you:
Such a modern face
With an old world feel.
You’ve hooked me and refuse to turn the reel,
Wind me into you, and consume me like Cronus,
Let me live inside of you,
And I’ll find the spot that shows I know what it is you love.
I’ll rest in the rift of your soul,
And tear you open from the inside,
Bursting out of you like Athena,
With the knowledge of the unknown,
With the knowledge of your spirit,
And the longings of your soul.
