Lunatic.

Lunatic.

A Poem by Lydia

Lunatic:

I feel hope

Looking at the moon.

I feel death

Looking at you.

I can’t bear

To stare at the sun,

Just your shoulder,

The one I can’t cry on,

The one where the light

Reflects off like a lie,

A lover, lost, forever.

I hope not.

I look at the moon,

I see you;

I see a hopeless situation

Full of fallacies

And facades,

Full of fireworks

Waiting to fly,

Full of bullets

Waiting to die.

I look at the moon,

Like a fool,

I wish on stars

That don’t shoot,

I want to sleep on Venus,

Or your chest,

Whichever brings me

Closer to that which I have lost,

To that which I’ve crossed

Over without a second glance,

To that which would lead me to you.

Quite simple in it's design, yet very good. I can definitely feel the emotion through your words. I see what you meant when you said that your relationship has entered a downward spiral as well. Hopefully things will work out, and if not, know that it's not your fault and that life will find you that someone who will show you the love you deserve. Take care darlin'.
