Desiderium

Desiderium

A Poem by Lydia

Baltimore is just
a place I go
in my mind
an unlikely destination
where we dance
like heathens
and we feast
like we have
known the
famine
still
be still
and listen
everything
has a story to tell us
even old crossroads
and hatched patterns
carved into our hearts
if you listen
in the stillness
in the quiet moments
before the dawn is certain
when the only guarantee is
darkness
you'll know
where to find us

This is creative and simply excellent. I'm not a fan of silly, meaningless crap. This is good.
