Confusion.

Confusion.

A Poem by Lydia

Putting the name to the nonexistent face

As my eyes fall on those who were never really there

Wandering without a care; I’m not who I say I am:

A walking contradiction

I do what I can to pull the wool over my own eyes

As I muffle the unintelligible words spilling from my sealed lips.
