Rigidity

Rigidity

A Poem by Lydia

Cabbage patch kid
with a face too wide
fake smiling
I never got the chance
to speak
Features unwavering
It doesn't matter what
I'd like to say
My mouth doesn't
move that way
Round and soft
undisciplined
no Barbie body here
just stuffing
slipping out
like water from
an uncleaned gutter
when it pours down rain
