Wit.

Wit.

A Poem by Lydia

Words spill forth, gushing out

Of no one's mouth, everyone's tongue.

Flowing like a fountain or Niagra,

Saying nothing, but everything all at once.

And do I listen?

I dare not, lest

Toxic words pollute

My Soul,

My Being.

All that I am is You,

and You are entirely Me.

Trying, but failing,
Drowing, but flying,

Lying, Yet Speaking

the Truth.
