Fusion

Fusion

A Poem by Lydia

I should have taken a shower
An hour ago but I can't get off the floor
Feels like we belong to each other
Absorbing how everything and nothing
Revolves around us
Like the planets and the fiery hell of the sun
I wish I could cool into a white dwarf and disappear
Fade back into space like a shadow
Never quite what I once was
Nothing in this expanse
Fusion flickered out

All I can say is it sounds like it was good.
