Oh Tree

You once whispered a sweet song as your leaves danced in the wind, 

sometimes reminding me of the ocean waves. 

Now, you stand naked and in silence seeming vulnerable to the harsh elements of nature.

 But through your vulnerability there is a sense of strength and perseverance.
