~TERRA~

To earth day...

Oh,the green,

The blue,

The brown,

The textures,

The water,

The sand,

The dirt,

The fire,

My home planet to which i try to protect,

My other mother,

The leaves and grass of her hair,

The branches, trees, cliffs, and other plants are her limbs, toes, fingers, and nose.

 

Her eyes are the sky and see,

The lava and magma her heart and blood,

The wind her breath,

The moutains her finger nails,

Her children; the creatures that inhabit her,

Her love blesses us with life.

 

Even though we are the ones who hurt her ,

Torture her,

Killing her....

We stil try,

Try to protect her and fix the mistakes we made,

The mistakes that she takes the blame for,

The mistakes she may or may not forgive us.

 

Oh, Mother Dearest,

This is your day,

To we, who care, thank  you for your blessings,

And try to protect you.
