I turned to
look at my mother who held my younger sister, Rachel. My mother smiled to my
sister, Rachel. I stared at her. My father came into the room and smiled at the
scene of my mother and sister. They gave their full attention to Rachel. I
opened the door and left the room. I walked as fast as my feet could carry me.
I opened the back door to our house. It seemed like my mother heard the squeak
of the back door. I walked out to the yard. I looked around and found a large
wolf standing a few yards in front of me. I stared at the wolf. My mother came
out carrying Rachel. Rachel saw the wolf and cried. My mother screamed and my
father ran out. The wolf stood there staring at me. I stared at the wolf back.
My father picked me up and pulled me away from the view of the wolf. At that
moment, the wolf ran away into the woods behind our house. My mother was crying
and went back into the house crying with Rachel also crying. My father carried
me in and placed me into my bed in my room. He went back down to calm my sister
and mother. I fell asleep just as they stopped crying.
