Difficulty of Simplicity

Difficulty of Simplicity

A Poem by iisuntouchable

Truth within lies

Anger in a calm man's eyes

The pleasure derived from pain

Its the little things we can't explain

Call it irony, call it hypocrisy

Its the difficulty of simplicity

You want to find why those who bless life want to end life

Why the same man that promises to love forever beats his wife

You ask questions that have no answers

Suffering through life with an emotional cancer

Call it irony, call it hypocrisy

It's the difficulty of simplicity

When promised heaven we always find hell

When thought to be on solid ground we fell

There is no logical reasoning to the madness

We just keep recycling through all our sadness

Call it irony, call it hypocrisy

Its the difficulty of simplicity

About
I've been writing poetry for ten years or so now. I've allowed life to get in the way of my writing, one of the few places I used to escape to and I hope to get back into it more regularly. Thanks t.. more..
