Slowly Circle

Slowly Circle

A Poem by iisuntouchable

Slowly circle around the hours, the days, the years

Trace the lines of time

Find the laughter and joy, overlook the pain and tears

Fingerprints of memories rising for all to see

A smile and laughter she shares with us

A smile and laughter given for free

Slowly circle around the love she has shown

Never a request for return

Just a wonderful reason to come home

Always there, forever loyal to the end

She finds the best when shown only our worst

And she'll never give up, foe or friend

Her words, even when spoken in a whisper

Could bring kings to their knees

My love, my pride, my little sister

I slowly circle around the memories

I hold them all so dear, so close to my heart

And I'll never forget what you mean to me

About
I've been writing poetry for ten years or so now. I've allowed life to get in the way of my writing, one of the few places I used to escape to and I hope to get back into it more regularly. Thanks t.. more..
