The Sun Does Provoke Hide and Seek

The Sun Does Provoke Hide and Seek

A Poem by Rachika Evelyn Fauz

The reality of the Sun hides,
Behind Curtains,
Doors.

Everest is the friend it plays
Hide and Seek.

I see you,
The ball of yellowness screams,
Ambushing the poor tall lonely peak.

In a flight of story and wisdom they play.
Running hiding,
Catching breaths,
In fast and slow motion of time.
Travel from a plane,
To the next.

Hopping like Easter bunnies,
Basket full of eggs,
Crate-full of joy.

Jumping,
Bonding,
Gliding,
The sun and the Everest.
Playing without breaths,
Being given out and
They fall.
