MAN AS GOD PART TWO.

CHANNELLINGS FROM THE COMFORTER.

The second Man' of Darwins train,

Took up the mooted creed, 

Made exuses, for the evasive God,

And published  his decision,

"That war goes on, disease is rife,

Men fight and die and bleed,

For Man' as God, not yet full-formed,

 Cannot  end division,

Cries halt in vain, to his own defects;

Cannot appease his need,

Yet times, Atime, and half a time,

Shall see Man' bring revision,

To make s Surgeon out of self,

And let out blood of greed,

Bleeding away mans coveting,

By a self-imposed incision.

 

So spoke the second Sage to Earth,

And added to his view,

"Tis often said God works through Man';

But this is surer still,

That men perform all works of God;

In everything they do,

For works of men - are works of God,

And twist it how you will,

The fact remains that God is Man'

Indeed it must be true!

Farther than that he would not go,
