THE FATES PART TWO.

THE FATES PART TWO.

MORE CHANNELLINGS FROM THE COMFORTER

CONTUING FROM PART ONE OF THE FATES.

To this must be assigned Mans' ills,

All backwardness, all growth;

Two warring Group-Souls govern men:

Thus all men are erratic:

And the weaker the human vesselthe Greater are its' needs thus even less

Predictable are all the female deeds! ,

To a land between two rivers,

Came a new religious mania:

Came to this hard- one Heaven a God

Of Thunder and of Storm.

Moses preached his Jewish God in

Eden, Mesopotamia; South-West of God-

If this was God - the first Empire was born.

Osiris a seeming pleasant God, ruled the living and the dead , and Egypt prospered ' neath

His yoke, and Egypts Empire spread;

Wise men of Egypt then could see, age

After age ahead: When Egypt would be

Mere memory; and standing in its' stead

Would be name after name of Empire fame

Stronger and more widespread;

The wise men knew Osiris too; future

Men would learn to dread, Osiris, God of

Egypt when he reared his jewelled head!

Osiris the Imperialist, who supped when weak lands bled!

Men made new Gods in every land,

For truth was but a ghost; these Gods were

Human mirrors: they cursed but seldom blessed! Jehovah led his people;

Osiris ruled his host; Hammurabi led Babylon;

Zoroaster ruled the West; war came to Greece,

And battle raged from coast to ragged coast;

Gods came to Mount Olympus - and Gods

Became a pest!

The royal pomp of Egypt passed- the torch

Was handed on, lit by a fire unquenchable

To foster fresh revivals; Great prophets, led

The Hebrews: Jehovah was still strong,

Who knows what pacts were ratified

'Twixt Zeus and his rivals?

Phoenicians founde Cartage; an Assyrian

Empire saw the light; and Nineveh was

Then destroyed; there came a new arrival:

I mperial Rome climbed up to fame; and

Seeing her growing might, Greek Zeus

Swiftly changed his name to ensure his own

Survival, as Jupiter in Rome he ruled a

Changeling God unsteady; but the doors of

Earth were shaking hard 'neath a distant roll

Of  Thunder, The One True God was coming

Back, was on His way already!

To set His Earth aright again, and give

Men cause to wonder!

By then mankind wre so mixed up, that no man could recall, a state of living still unmixed,

Evolving life or Static; Confucious in China,

Laid a Static mantle over all;

Buddha evolved in India: and Solon less

Dramatic, laid laws down for Athenians,

Preluding Athens Golden Age, when Aeschylus and Sphocles led philosophys' Menage......

Theatres and Philosophies threw Bachus from His place, and Knowledge passed poor Stumbling Sin, at a furious goaded pace.

It's like the growth of man through time; changing and restructuring. I like the use of ancient civilizations.
