agender

agender

A Poem by prettybretty

I have a real problem when every person I meet asks where my name "comes from"
But much worse is "I understand because I'm not a girly girl"
But the worst is the word "feel" when the word is am/am not.
I don't feel agender; as if I have a say in what I became
I am agender ,
and just a person all the same,
Regardless of the frivolity of name . I don't trust you with my story ,
I am
secured in identity like ocean waves.
