Point de suture

Point de suture

A Poem by prettybretty

Could you lie down on the bed
just for me?
I'll put on your oxygen mask
so you can breathe.
You'll close your eyes, count to three,
go to sleep....

I want to find your suture points
And bring you back to life.
Open you up to me.
The intravenous needle in your arm;
giving you the fluids you
desperately need.

So when you wake,
will you say that you're happy
you've never truly died?
