Ilanit

Ilanit

A Poem by prettybretty

love knows no religion
Judaism is love
my Hebrew name, Ilanit
rises out of the ashes of your so-called messiah

did sylvia's poppies in july wither?

i pull out the ace of
diamonds.

i am nervous
my hands fidget as a deaf-mute
speaking too quickly for you
to hear

Carson my ideal of beauty;
i wear my crown in shame.
maleness the epitome of beauty,
but so is lesbianism

decay! decay! decay!
decoy.
beat me and surrender.
