Revolution

Revolution

A Poem by prettybretty

you're not used to forever
after all the times they changed their minds
screwed you over, left you high and dry
(except your tears)

well 13, 19, 22
there was nothing you could do
to keep me from killing myself
over you

somehow.

baby child has found their other 1/2
to fill their full void

this is my revenge
this is my salvation
this is my baptism
this is my happiness

life after you!

friendship is my religion
and i'm starting anew.

(revolution, education,
they didn't put this in the Constitution)
