What I Like

what i like to imagine

is that the ones i love

in heaven know it;

and the ones i love

in earth somehow receive this

knowing.

what i like to wish

is that we'll be together

forever and the universe

will never split us apart 

like atoms;  but the thought

of being without you

only stains my face with tears.

what i like to see

is the flowers of all kinds

throughout our garden and town;

they remind me so of a friend

and my own luxury-dreams. 

what i like to see

is you smiling

what i like to see

is the God in you and me.

what i like to imagine,

is it far too much to ask for?

i only want

glimpses.

Wow, I really enjoyed this. It's a truly beautiful piece, written so eloquently and honestly, like you just poured your heart onto the page. This is to be admired.
