Miss You Much Leslie

Miss You Much Leslie

A Poem by prettybretty

All over the world,
people put flowers for you.
People build shrines for you.
I never felt so lonely.

13 years is a long time.
These Hong Kong tears cry for you.
Friends pay tributes to you.
But what's the price of fame?

If you feel alone in the world.
Why should I be happy?

Every April 1st, we remember
Every day, we remember
The angel on the 24th floor.
It couldn't be true, could it?
It couldn't be you, could it?

I never felt so alone.
Your voice still says,
"Please leave a message" on the phone.
Let's start over.

The only magic I ever saw
was you playing on the screen.
Take me to Hong Kong.
The only place where nothing was wrong.

I miss you.
My tears fall
while you fly.
Somewhere better than here.
