Cahli, Always

Cahli, Always

A Poem by prettybretty

Why pretend to be happy
if you're not?  It's a waste.

Why pretend to be a girl
'cause society says?
I can't help the structure
of my own face.

What happened to the love in my heart?

You read that book so many times
but it didn't fall apart.
I'm trying to be like Audrina.

But I'm not.
I don't feel so sweet anymore.

Oh gosh, all this love in my heart!
I can't contain it but I do anyway.
Beautiful world.

We're not broken,
just a little weary, hurt.

You're not what you think you are.
Even if you don't walk with me,
You'll always be the one I love most.

Please think of me sometimes
When you're reading books outside
under the Australian night light.

My star, you are that light of my life.

We were born from cosmic miracles.
I'm so happy we met in the same life.
