Clouds

Clouds

A Poem by prettybretty

I'm putting my walls back up
Dear void tell me what is love?
I said I'm sorry but I changed my mind, good luck

I'm someone you will never find
Lost in the shadows of the past I cannot leave behind

Once again the bitterness filled my cup
Dear void will anything ever be enough?

The diamond in the rough just could not shine

And even if I love my life
There's a machine that says access denied

Hating all our fakeness
Every moment we're breaking our brittle hearts.

I look up at the brilliant clouds of God and smile.
