Radio America

Radio America

A Poem by prettybretty

Where are Oasis, the Roses, The Jam?
You can't find them, nobody can
on Radio America
Where are The Smiths?  Where is Blur?
It's not really fair
They're not really fare
for Radio America
Who is going to teach this desolate world
What's a wonderwall?
Or that she'll carry on,
she's a waterfall?
And the only Stones they know are rolling
And it's not really fun
on Radio America
She Bangs the Drums
will never be number one
And they love the Beatles
But they've never heard Beetlebum
What is wrong with Radio America?
They've never heard the sound
of Going Underground
Will the lost ever be found?
And they've never heard the riffs
of Johnny Marr on his guitar
on Radio America
