Sorry

Sorry

A Poem by prettybretty

I'm sorry for what he did
It wasn't all your fault
I'm sorry I covered
Your wounds in salt

I'm sorry I judged you
I'm sorry I'm hurt
I'm sorry I tend
To treat you like dirt

I'm sorry you don't know
How much you mean to me
I'm sorry I get angry
When you ignore me

I'm sorry I can't change
The fact that there's a part
Of me that will always
Love you in my heart

But most of all
I'm sorry when you hurt
I'm sorry when you're in pain
I'm sorry how things turned out
That sunshine turned to rain

I'm sorry you're not happy
I'm sorry it's not always fun
I'm sorry for what you've been put through
I'm sorry that you're numb

I'm sorry I don't have much to give
But this to you I swear
That through thick & thin I will love you
As long as I may live
