Obsession

Obsession

A Poem by prettybretty

It tells me what not to wear
It tells me what not to do
If you were me
You would be very afraid too!

Don't touch this!  Don't watch that!
Wash your hands!  Avoid the cat!

It tells tales that are not true
It's really very false
It disturbs me so much
That I take pause

Don't write this!  Don't look there!
Listen to me!  Don't you dare!

Will there ever be a day
when "it" will cease to care?
