Nothing, just sharing my disappointment

These days, I'm seeing a lot of people use AI tools to craft their poetry. It's kinda sad.

Well, you know... it really IS NOT their poetry...
On the other hand way too many of the poets on this site feel it necessary to write in someone else's voice... They use archaic words and conventions from the Romantics or try to be e e cummings; some think poetry is rhymes or other silly conceits. For me any poem has one job achieved by saying something new, pointing out a truth in a new way, and/or commenting on the human condition. The poet's job is to add meaning to life itself.

AI constructed poetry is just not poetry. I dispair.

I'm hoping that AI will not take place of poets, writers, artists and so forth; that will kill the real essence of true, genuine creativity and uniqueness. A different world indeed it would be.

It shouldn't take place of true artists. The ones who resort to AI for creating artworks aren't genuine either.

It is a great sadness that technology is being used in this way. Creativity from a machine? The future looks bleak for sure.

So true. Tech is just taking over our creativity and we can't seem to put a full stop to it. Yes, to some extent, I'm grateful for all the convenience it provides, but seeing the excessive prevalence makes me miss simpler days.

this is common and there's even a term for it. I guess soon there will be a new term for the action of betraying creativity and having an affair with AI tools lol

Oh, man. I've been working as a copywriter for more than 2 years now, and I just feel sad about people thinking AI is the answer. As if it can help you with emotions lol. But then I keep reminding myself that in the end, us originals will be the ones being sought after. 'Cause there's only so much these effing tools can do.:D

But sadly being unique doesn't always guarantee it for clients. Now a lot of them are looking for writers skilled in AI tools or just the AI-generated contents to cut costs on human efforts we writers mainly charge for. In the end, this is kinda affecting my content writing career..:'(

It is really sad....poetry needs to be from the heart, not the machine or artificial intelligence.
And I think writers definitely appreciate reviews that come from the heart, even if they aren't perfectly crafted.

So true. Poetry or review should come from heart. And I doubt AI tools have it.
