A Silent Scream of Freedom

I had the taste of dirty destruction

It never was delectable

Before quitting the war game

I saw the little aircrafts

  used to visit my land everyday

Just to show me the crimson pool of earth

I wanted to know the reason 

    -of sending those toys to us..

       -of dropping those toy to us.. 

No one solved my query

Holy breaths were dying before me

   -hunting for peace

       leaving their props behind

Some souls were green 

       some were matured

I saw the clouds witnessing our quaking prison

Everything was surrendering

       its assets before paralytic phase

They were getting their offerings from the blessed assassins

Which was for the mistake that killers did

The mistake of rubbing out the humanism from the world

   using an eraser as their weapon

All my sins were innocent

Yet I had to get a furious punishment

What was it for?

I loved the theme..Destruction , death , war , these are among those things which I will be never able to understand..I actually don't know the reason behind themmWhen there is a war between two countries , what do they think that winning the war means a victory..No humanity is the one that loses this war..Both countries have to face killing of many people..I can never understand logic behind a thing where a human life is sacrificed..Great read..

I believe destruction will keep knocking to us until death. In This time we are at least not habitual of wars , exploitation and many more. But as you truly said humanity is no longer the same way, and it must be the only religion basic for all.

Obviously destruction is just like burning a matchstick, the fire doesn't stop its blaze till it eats the whole stick. And people who are just in the middle of this situation can neither stop the war, nor we can protect the innocence. And I regret to be one of them.
Anyway, these emotions of this poem are still meaningless since I'm just a watcher.

Death and destruction, can not understand that one myself why? Only rich people in power control us and destroy us at will and when the fancy takes them to do what they do to us all below them in the pecking order of life. Great poem. made me think and question.

Power never carries any emotion that can stop such system to happen. And this system has made our hands and brain so paralyzed that nether we can erase such evil powers from our life nor we can be the shield to protect the souls. I feel terrible, I feel ashamed to have no power to murder evil power.

I understand that as well. We live as underdogs controlled by the small majority with money. As money speaks loud. We need to live on an island far away no modern technologies and back to the land and a community spirit.

Exactly. Money speaks. I wish we could end them with money. I soooo wish. Even we, the debilitated we, are bigger in number than the ones having power, yet we cannot stop the apocalypse. Even my write isn't powerful enough to stop so.

an uprising would just get innocent people killed history show us that from past times. and one day the power that be will get karma or god kicking there butts. as the world evolves so does man and change some good must come one day. Don't lose all hope have faith.

I've got experience war.
Both as a Soldier and as a Citizen.
Both were equally powerful and scarring experiences.
I'll die a happy man if I never have to participate in another, as either.

You write from alot of pain,
You speak of the young and the old, the innocent, and the not so much.
Yet we can all agree no one deserves war.

Your poem is beautiful, although I'd give up all the poetry in the world if it meant ending wars.

I'll never be able to describe the pain of the people who face disasters everyday as I've never undergone any war. I can only sense their situation. I can only hope for human peace. I wish this digitized world could even stop all of the wars and live with lesser pain. And thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. Means a lot :)

An older poem of yours (2014) but it slashes a new and painful wound across my heart for the inhumanity of war, any war. Your empathy spews its vitriol rightly upon those who pronounced their death sentences upon both the green and mature souls who's "Holy breaths were dying before me

Like the poem. The situation in Gaza is very dificult to comment on, like abortion it is a theme that creates very varied and emotional responses. I say ; there must be a political solution that is fair to both Palstine and Israel,a cease fire from both sides and the creation of two stable countries living in peace.
Easy to write, but very difficult to create, I know, but I wish for peace for all in the region..
