The Right WayA Poem by Rita MacGumeraitI'm not sure how many of you will understand this. The truth is none of you may. But I do.I’m walking
on Sunshine, I’m falling
on grass! Oh, ye with
little faith in the heavens! Look to the
sky! And the ground you shall see, As though
truth were but a gentle thing. Stand forth
in pride and mockery, To watch
your eyes swell! Thy simplest
truths match nothing to mine Go! Flee! Leave
me of your company! Let me lay
my head against the softest pillow, Wash myself
in the coolest bath! Give me my
leave to once again dream of you! In your
misery do not fear, But rejoice
for the heart has seen! Leave the
ears to hear. © 2010 Rita MacGumeraitAuthor's Note
