You have to be careful in this world of ups and downs, your best friend could be your enemy and your neighbor could be your foe. But balance, the balance of it all helps us, keeps us in an alliance with friends and foes, cities and countries. Every once in a while, we argue or we disagree. Then, there are no punishments that we used to get as young children, we don’t have tickets for violating laws. Now we fight, we go to war. Lives are lost, homes are gone, and sanity is taken from us until we spend the rest of our lives in search of a treatment at an asylum that never checks us in.

We continue on living our lives as we once had while we try and connect with these people. The innocent ones whose innocent blood has been taken for our own use and abuse. Oh! How people laugh at us as they walk by! Us who don’t know the texture of the sidewalk under our feet. Their venom stains our clothes as they parish at the mercy of their “redeemer” while we walk with our head high under the guidance of Yeshua. Their truth unravels unto thin air as the earth screams in defeat. Their truth was nothing but lies, while our truth lives on.
