Wolves

Wolves

A Poem by M O R P H I N E

Midnight mist leaves me breathless
As the night slowly moves towards that which I fear
The wolves have now come out
And I shall soon leave all of this behind
Heading out into the wilderness where the sun will consume me
Transforming me into what I really am
I set aside my differences in hope that I can mend what I have left broken
Right now, I walk alone
Going beyond boarders where my dreams rest
I will be more than what I have become
The transformation has now begun to take place
Let it be as it consumes me.
