Darkness

Wilting, into the calling darkness
my name is so beautifully said

"We want you, we need you"

But only if I am dead

Nicotine leaks into my mouth
I am sinking deeper into a hole
ashes hit the ground
as my last breath leaves me cold

A broken heart no longer beats
there is no love that can now keep
this soul alive for it is gone

I walk on into the darkness
which becomes my very own
