Never Enough

Never Enough

A Poem by Shaunta R. Edwards

 It's Never Enough

The cuts, never deep enough

self infliction at it's best...

that'ts my fortay...

Graduated from the physical t;ype however...

experimenting with the emotional endeavors....

Either way the pain is real,

slit my heart and bleed and feel...

No real reason

No real rhyme...

A learned behavior I suppose

Never knowing anythng more...

Take my cover and hope for the worst...

Knowing i'm the only source

but it's never enough

no rhyme scene...well i hadn't noticed that.... it was so beautifully written i guess that wasnt an important thing to look for. the heart only knows emotion and emotion comes in all shapes and sizes, not rhymes and rhythms. so did you rhyme? i honestly don't know...hm.
"take my cover and hope for the worst" its me in sooo many ways. sounds like we've been thru a lot of the same experiences... :P

I especially like this line. Even though there really is no rhyme scheme, I still really liked it. It was well done. Keep it up!

A deep decline into self degradation. Well done (rhyme scheme or not).
