Boulder

Boulder

A Poem by False Deathening

I'm writing this as I speak. I feel like I have ability to talk correctly and analyze.
Anyways.

Loving you is like loving a boulder. Because the boulder doesn't move or feel. It's just a solid made of molecules and atoms. It just sits there without moving. To be moved, it has to be moved. Boulders live longer than people and people live shorter. Living a century or half a century doesn't really qualify as longer. When you a love a boulder, you're loving nothing. You made no point and you built a tower for the sake of building them. You didn't want a tower or want to be in a tower. Why's that tower there when nobody's even inside it? Is it just a statue of ambition or just an object that's a nuisance to matter and space?

These questions and journal has nothing to do with anybody. But if you're reading this while loving someone that doesn't love you back, you have to look and think about all of this. I'm not feeling cynical or pessimistic at the moment. I feel pretty thoughtful and optimistic actually.
