Pain and Misery

This is a rather dark minded poem that I came up with a little bit ago, while thinking of one of my friends and my girlfriend. Girlfriends been off the grid for a year, friend moved.

Each day is full of misery and pain,

It seems like living is all in vain,

Suffering constant reminders of what has been lost,

Just another cost,

Friends that will soon be gone,

Just living another nightmare with each new dawn,

We must learn to bend before we break,

When all that is left of us is in the wake.
