Love Hate

I love the rain, 

its beautiful perfection, dripping and moving over every inch of skin, 

but a lot of the time,  

rain comes to give me that pleasure and brings along a friend, 

a friend I do not care for, 

who erupts with anger in the night,  

he always takes my smile away and ruins my moment with the rain, 

I've never been able to convince my love of the beast that lies within his heart, 

but I guess it just goes to show you can't have love without a little hate.

I couldnt quite think of a title and its not my best i know, its just a little idea I had. Please tell me what you think

sleep. The push and pull element to this poem is really sweet.
