Love

If love were a color it would be silver

as silver as the moon and stars

If love were a taste,

it would be like the rain

soft, sweet and hydrating,

if love were a feeling

It would be as soft as the forest floor after a storm

if love were a smell

it would be fragrant as a daisy

If love were a sound

it would be calm like the sky

And if love were forever

forever we would survive

love the last 2 lines. love is technicaly a feling all by itself so you may want to revise the feeling part, great write!

This was a really sweet poem. It could have easily come out cheesy, but somehow you gave it a genuine feeling of love. I think it comes from the fact that it is easy and flows without any resistance. It didnt feel rushed at all.

My question would be why would love be silver? I mean the moon and stars are beautiful but i always thought they looked gray.Gray isn't really a pretty color but that's just my thoughts and mood at this very moment. I don't know maybe its the bitter speaking out at the moment but love has never been calm but as i said already those are just my options and your write so you do as you wish.

On the writing: I like the flow of things but it didn't bring a picture in my head like your other writes have.
