Colors of the Day

The sunset,

blue mixed with green,

the first one that I've ever seen

 

hazel,

your bright brown eyes,

they always give me butterflies

 

silver,

the thundering sky

sing me to sleep with a lullabye

 

aqua,

the refreshing chill

wakes me up with such a thrill

ebony,

the glistening keys,

a rock star I will never be

 

pink

sickeningly sweet

Why would I buy such a treat

 

red

freckles on pale skin

kissing in the light that's dim
