Raining TearsA Poem by Tara♥Undefined♥They ricochet off the windows, pleading to get in, when the sun rises they will dry up and disappear, let them in let them in. They swarm in packs and cry and cry. They fear the thunder, fear the lightning. Let them in let them in *tap tap tap* They beg and plead but you don't even notice. The thunder booms the lightning crackles, let them in let them in. *tap tap tap tap* faster now pouring down hard and sharp They are pleading you refuse. let then in LET THEM IN!!!! I run to the shutters and tear open the hatch. They pour in on the floor. I fall to the ground with a smile on my face. They are in they are in. They fall to the ground with me and rest by morning they have left, they are grateful. All that is left of the night before is one tiny drop on my cheek. The question that still remains A drop or a tear? © 2010 Tara♥Undefined♥Author's Note
