My Twin SisterA Poem by Tara♥Undefined♥My twin sister is tall and strong, short and weak, rough and sleek,
Sometimes bare and sometimes not, showing what she's always been thick and thin.
She's dainty and muscular, I really can't muster,
Her shadow stands fiercomely in the morn and hides in fear at a nighttime storm.
She is me but not at all, I am short and she is tall,
There's no one who ever knew, That we are not one but two.
She is pink and brown and green, but what does this really mean.
Sheltering me from the wind and icy rain, as I tend to her cherries every spring,
Her seed sprouted when I was born, She is my twin in one way or form,
She showed me light through her branches, and her pink petals drifted around me,
Without her I don't know what I'd do. If she withered away, then I'd die too,
I swear this to you. © 2010 Tara♥Undefined♥Author's Note
